Geography:Babuganj is located at 22.8319°N 90.3222°E . It has 25144 units of house hold and total area 164.88 km².
Demographics:As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Babuganj has a population of 135905. Males constitute are 50.58% of the population, and females 49.42%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 66984. Babuganj has an average literacy rate of 47.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
